From here you can download demonstration versions of our software, freeware products from Jaffa Software and links to third-party sites with WimpWorks applications available to download.

Demos

WimpWorks	(403K)	Example version of WimpWorks which allows anyone with a simple knowledge of BBC BASIC to produce stunning multitasking applications. Contains examples. Please note: the demo version is fully functional, except the memory clean-up routines have been removed. This means that any app produced with the demo version of WimpWorks will gradually use more and more memory which can be reclaimed by quitting it. Also note that this now requires the new SharedCLibrary (although distributed applications don't). This can be found in "System/zip" or "TBox/zip" at the Iyonix support page.

Freeware

TVGuide	(113K)	Display today's UK TV listings in a window on your desktop. Click on a programme for more details. [Screenshot]. NB: works on an Iyonix only under Aemulor due to a dependence on Acorn modules of which a 32-bit compatible version has not been released. This will be addressed in the next version.

MyTunes	(92K)	An alpha version of our MP3 library management and playback utility. Requires the AMPlayer modules to be installed. [Screenshot] v0.07 (23-Mar-2004)

WWBounce	(73K)	The Best Bouncy Ball Program in the World.... Ever!. This demonstration of client/server technologies will bounce the ball between multiple tasks! Start up the server (the "house"), and as many clients as you wish (the "rooms") and the ball will bounce between them when two or more windows overlap. This program was inspired by BeOS' similar demo, except we've done it using ActiveApps instead!

PICbasic	(27K)	This assembler produces object code for PIC devices from a BBC BASIC input file. This is a part of PICsuite.

WindowEd	(38K)	A new template editor for RISC OS - can also be used in WimpWorks by copying it over the version already present in `!WimpWorks.Resources.Editors.!AAAB_Wind`

Third Party

System	(387K)	WimpWorks v2.30 and above require the new 32-bit compatible !System modules. These can be downloaded here. Distributed applications do not require this to be installed.

TextThing	(48K)	Victor Markwart's useful text processing tool, hosted here due to a lack of his own website. V1.02 (15-Mar-1998)
